The two rhthym guitars play the chords shown above while the third guitar plays
Performance Notes:- This is a great song with Slash doing both rhythm and lead guitars with Izzy only doing background vocals. Axl also played rhythm guitar on this song. The intro features some microphonic feedback and a pick slide. The chords to this song might look rather daunting, but, if you practice hard enough, you will get the hang of it. The trick between the chord changes in the chorus is to play a power chord and then to just keep your first finger on the 6th string and just lay your third finger on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th strings. At first, this will be quite difficult but keep practising and it will become easier. The pre-chorus features the use of sliding power chords which lend a slight punk rock feel to this part of song. The bridge uses strummed chords that lead up to the guitar solo. Strum these chords in a down/up motion. The guitar solo features high bends and some fast hammer-ons and pull-offs. Practice this (it will pay off in the long run). Listen to the record to determine how Slash is feeling the phrase against the beat. There is some tough phrasing in the guitar solo so analyse the lines carefully and listen to the record.
