In wore out, run-down shoes
Scratchin out a livin
Back before World War Two
Too young to fight
So I had to plough
Aunts and Uncles did what was right
It all comes back to me now.
Many of them never came home
Those who didnt serve were few
Think of all the courage that was shown
Back during World War Two.
I wonder now that Jihad threatens
Are we willing to sacri- fice?
And beat back those heathen
Or let them strike again?would be twice
What will it take for us to act?
Too many cell phones and play station twos
A make believe world, ignoring the facts
Will we fight back like in World War Two?
Will we answer the call like in World War Two
