I woke up this morning before day light

ground to brake before the day is trought
The corn field need plowing and another so
another sleepless night i`ll spend alone
i can feel her heart i can read her mind

She spend her nights of running around
whit the bankers son in another town
he own my land my crops my shoes
but ill be damned if he own her to
The plows are brown to tree or four
i walk to the house and open up the door
all the lights turned of the shades pull clow
i heard he might and i heard the noise
