The Lord is my shepherd, I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in the green meadows, he leads me beside the peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along the righteous paths, bringing honour to his name.
Even though I walk through the darkest night
I will not be afraid,
for you are close by, beside me
Your rod and your staff protect me
You prepare a feast for me, even in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head
and my cup overflows with your blessings.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all of the days for the rest my life,
and I will dwell in the house of my Lord,
