Lyrics of
Oh, Pretty Woman

Pretty Woman, officially known as Oh, Pretty Woman, was written by Roy Orbison and Bill Dees. It was inspired when Orbison’s wife, Claudette, walked into the room to say goodbye before heading out to the city. Bill Dees remarked, Oh, pretty woman! which sparked the idea for the song. They wrote the song on a guitar in less than an hour.

Pretty Woman Walking down the street
Pretty Woman The kind I like to meet
Pretty Woman I don't believe you You're not the truth
No one can look as good as you
(mercy)
Pretty Woman Won't you pardon me
Pretty Woman I couldn't help but see
Pretty Woman You look so lovely as can be
Are you lonely just like me
(growl)
Pretty Woman stop awhile
Pretty Woman talk awhile
Pretty Woman give your smile to me
Pretty woman Yeah Yeah Yeah
Pretty Woman look my way
Pretty Women say you'll stay with me
Cause I need you I'll treat you right
Come with me baby Be mine tonight
Pretty Woman Don't walk on by
Pretty Woman Don't make me cry
Pretty Woman Don't walk away hey ok
If that's the way it must be, okay
what do I see
Is she walking back to me yeah
Oh ho pretty woman
