Lyrics of
Lucky

Lucky was written by Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead. It was inspired by a feeling of empathy towards the victims of wars and conflicts, and began to be composed after Thom Yorke saw war footage on television. It was part of the Help Album project, a charity compilation to raise funds for the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Later, it was included in the album OK Computer, which is often cited as one of the greatest albums of all time.

I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll this time
I feel my luck could change
Kill me Sarah
Kill me again with love
It's gonna be a glorious day

Pull me out of the aircrash
Pull me out of the lake
Cause I'm your superhero
We are standing on the edge

The head of state has called for me by name
But I don't have time for him
It's gonna be a glorious day
I feel my luck could change

Pull me out of the aircrash
Pull me out of the lake
Cause I'm your superhero
We are standing on the edge

We are standing on the edge
