Lyrics of
I dont want to talk about it

I Dont Want to Talk About It was written by Danny Whitten of Crazy Horse. Initially recorded by the band in 1971, it was made famous through Rod Stewarts cover in 1975 and again in 1989. It is often seen as an emotional expression of the pain and reluctance to discuss a broken heart.

I can tell by your eyes,
that you've probably been crying forever.
And the stars in the sky don't mean nothing,
to you they're a mirror.

I don't wanna talk about it, how you broke my heart.
If I stay here just a little bit longer,
if I stay here won't you listen
to my heart, oh my heart.

If I stand all alone,
will the shadows hide the colours of my heart.
Blue for the tears, black for the night's fears
The stars in the sky don't mean nothing,
to you they're a mirror.

I don't wanna talk about it, how you broke my heart.
If I stay here just a little bit longer,
if I stay here won't you listen
to my heart, oh my heart.
I don't wanna talk about it, how you broke my heart.
If I stay here just a little bit longer,
if I stay here won't you listen
to my heart, oh my heart.
