Trading my sorrows

Trading My Sorrows was written and composed by Darrell Evans in 1998. The song emerged from a challenging time in Evans life, where he was inspired by Scripture, specifically 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 and Psalm 30:5, to craft a message of hope and joy amidst trials. The idea is to convey that despite struggles and sorrows, one can choose to lay down their burdens before God and receive His joy as their strength.
