Take It Easy

Take It Easy was written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey and is famously known as the opening track on the Eagles debut album in 1972. The collaboration between Browne and Frey started when they lived in the same apartment building and Frey heard Browne working on the song but struggling to finish it. Frey suggested the line Its a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford, slowing down to take a look at me, which became a key part of the song. Take It Ea ... sy was meant to capture the spirit and attitudes of early 70s country rock and became one of the Eagles biggest hits, greatly contributing to the bands initial success. See more [+]
