Sweet Caroline

Sweet Caroline was inspired by Caroline Kennedy, daughter of US president John F. Kennedy. Neil Diamond saw a picture of her in a magazine during the 60s and was moved to write the song. Years later, Diamond revealed the true inspiration for the song to Caroline Kennedy herself during a performance at her 50th birthday party.
