Los Visconti is a folk music duo from Argentina, originally composed of the twin brothers Abel and Víctor Visconti, born in Coronel Dorrego (Buenos Aires), Argentina, where they began their artistic life when they were teenagers. The duo was born in 1950 as Los Hermanos Visconti, but in 1974 they were presented simply as Los Visconti, at the Cosquín Festival, where they had a resounding success and achieved fame. Their music is characterized by t ... he romantic and emotional air of its songs, mainly by the interpretation of valsecitos criollos, reason why they have been called Kings of the Valsesito Criollo. Among his most successful songs are Dorreguero and payador, A Coronel Dorrego , the zamba Bahía Blanca , Mama vieja , How the sun is worshiped, Andate , etc. When Víctor died, Abel wrote in his tribute an exciting song, "Adiós hermano", a song included in the album Homage to my brother (Universal Music Colombia-2006). The Visconti had wide diffusion and recognition outside of Argentina, especially in Colombia, and also in Paraguay, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia and Costa Rica.
