Jackson do Pandeiro was a Brazilian musician and singer, known as the King of Rhythm for his influential role in the popularization of northeastern Brazilian rhythms. Born in Paraíba in 1919, his music blended elements of forró, samba, and other genres, and his rhythmic innovation had a significant impact on Brazilian music.
