Intwine nl

Intwine was a Dutch rock band. It started in 2001 when a group of students of the Rock Academy in Tilburg decided to form a band. They received national attention when their lead singer Roger Peterson quit from the last group of 10 in the first Dutch finals of Idols. The untitled first album was released in 2003, preceded by the single Happy. Their second CD, Perfect, was released in 2004. The song Cruel Man was featured on the soundtrack of th ... e Dutch movie De Dominee. The sophomore release earned the 3FM Award for Best Album in 2005. In the same year, they also performed at the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf. In 2006, they released their third album: Pyrrhic Victory. It was recorded with sound artist Gordon Groothedde (whose CV includes Absynth Minded, The Sheer, Vengeance, Spittball and others), who also worked with Intwine on their previous albums. Intwine was forced to go through several line-up changes, of which the latest was Ferdinand van Duuren's departure. In 2010 the band broke up.
