Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) were an English progressive rock supergroup formed in London in 1970. Consisting of keyboardist Keith Emerson, singer/bassist/guitarist Greg Lake, and drummer Carl Palmer, the group is known for melding rock, classical music, and jazz with elaborate live shows.
