Dominique Pinto, born in July 28, 1989 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, known by her stage name Dom La Nena, is a Brazilian cellist, singer and songwriter. Her music is a mixture of classical music and "music popular brasileira" which iscommonly known by the acronym MPB. This is a Brazilian musical genre that emerged in the mid-1960s as an extension of bossa nova. In Brazil, this music is popular especially among the urban middle class.
