Dennis Yost and the Classics IV were an American band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in the mid-1960s. They are best known for their soft rock hits like Spooky, Stormy, and Traces. Under the leadership of vocalist Dennis Yost, the bands mellow sound bridged the transition between the rock-and-roll of the 1960s and the more mellow sounds of the 1970s.
