1.) Closure was an emo band from Oceanside, New York, who was around in the 90's. They played a style of frantic emo with driving guitars and somewhat high-speed drum-work, topped off with desperate screamed vocals. They released a split 7" with Breakwater, a full length LP, and contributed a track to the compilation "I Can't Live Without It." All of their releases were on Mountain Records, out of Huntington, New York. Closure was: Trevor - voca ... ls Adam - guitar Mike - guitar Mark - bass Dave - drums 2.) Closure is a Canadian rock band formerly signed to Tvt Records. The band released their first album, Closure, in 2003. The album was fueled by the hit single "Look Out Below". The band was writing their new album and awaiting word from their label, along with starting their own MySpace page where they asked fans to e-mail and petition TVT Records to contact the band so they can put together their follow-up album. On the MySpace page, the band stated that they were ready to record their new album, and had already recorded a few tracks privately. Some of these tracks, "Safe for Now", "Mom Blames Manson", and "Way Past Sorry", were posted for listening purposes on the MySpace page. Later, they had the unreleased "Safe for Now" available for listening, but pulled the other two unreleased tracks for undisclosed reasons. In March 2006, though not officially stated by the band, the MySpace page was altered to read that Closure no longer have a label. 3.) Closure was a fast hardcore band based in Leeds, UK, and influenced by such bands as Crossed Out, Neanderthal, Infest, and Iron Monkey. They have released a self titled demo 7" on thirty days of night records, a 4-way-split with Mouth, Bonestorm, and Torn Apart, available from Hit Time (UK) / Crucificados (DE), and a second self-titled 7" on Feast of Tentacles. The last release will be a Moloch/Closure split also from Feast Of Tentacles. Closure have ex/current members of UYA, Sick-Fuckin-O, Bonestorm, and Torn Apart. 4.) Closure are a minimalist techno duo consisting of 'A-Teque' and 'DJ DOMM' and were formed from the ashes of the pair's previous project, 'Beatmatique'. They draw from a wide palette of influences, and claim to find inspiration from artists such as Joy Division through to UMEK. They have also been quoted as saying they find inspiration in the taste of Pueblo, a famous Mexican tobacco. See more [+]
