Barrerito, born Darci Rossi in 1942 in Minas Gerais, Brazil, was a renowned Brazilian sertanejo singer. Rising to fame in the 1970s and 1980s, he became famous as a member of the trio Trio Parada Dura. After a paralyzing accident in 1982, he continued his solo career and became an inspiration for his resilience and beautiful voice until his death in 1998.
