"Arkangel" are a Metalcore band from Brussels,Belgium formed in 1997 and in 1998 released it's first MCD 'Prayers Upon Deaf Ears'. The band was quickly considered as one of the best metalcore acts and gained a lot of popularity in the scene and attracted a lot of fans. In 1999 the band released their first full album 'Dead Man Walking' but due to the departure of guitarist and master brain of Arkangel (Numa), the band couldn't play shows until 20 ... 01 when Kirby joined the band. Arkangel started to play shows all over the world (Europe USA and Japan) and in 2004 finally released a new CD named 'Hope You Die By Overdose'. With this album a new line up was born! Arkangel became a five member band featuring Baldur Vilmundarson (vocals), David Vande Zande (drums), Kirby (guitar), Mehdi (bass) and Julien Chanut (guitar). Recently Arkangel released a new album 'Arkangel Is Your Enemy' on GSR Music and confirmed that the band still has the status of one of the best metalcore bands in the scene.See more [+]
