Timothée Duperray, known as Tim Dup, born on 7 December 1994, is a French singer-songwriter, musician and producer. Born in Rambouillet, Tim Dup took his first piano lessons at the age of 7 and already played a few compositions at music festivals when he was in high school. As a young student in social sciences in Paris, he began to perform in various bars in the capital, then in various Parisian venues such as Les Trois Baudets. There he met mus ... ic professionals, such as his managers, during an "acoustic springboard" organised by TV5 Monde. The singer played a series of support acts, opening for Benjamin Biolay, Christophe Miossec, Dominique A, Philip Catherine, Oxmo Puccino and Lou Doillon. Tim Dup collaborates with many artists, such as Synapson, Gaël Faye, Yuksek or Véronique Sanson, with whom he sings Toute une vie sans te voir on the album Duos Volatils. He also writes and composes for others, including Louane and Pauline Croze. After a Master's degree in media and communication at CELSA in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Tim Dup definitively devoted himself to music. He released a four-track EP in September 2016, Vers les ourses polaires. His first album, Mélancolie heureuse, was released in October 2017. Tim Dup then embarked on a tour in his own name of about seventy concerts, until the end of 2018. He continues to compose and records new songs, gathered in a reissue of the album (New Impression), published at the end of 2018. In February 2019, he performed at the Victoires de la Musique, where he was nominated in the "Stage Revelation" category at the Victoires de la Musique. In January 2020, Tim Dup released his second album, Qu'en restera-t-il? arranged as a trio with Pavane and Renaud Letang, where he continues to assemble poetic thoughts and electroacoustic arrangements. A year later, Tim Dup released the single "Juste pour te plaire", the prologue to his third studio album, La course folle, which was released on 11 June 2021. See more [+]
