Guitar chords Dont Fear The Reaper

Dont Fear the Reaper was written and sung by Donald Buck Dharma Roeser, guitarist of the band Blue Oyster Cult. The inspiration for the song came from Roesers contemplation on the inevitability of death and the thought that it should not be feared. The song also speaks of an eternal love that can transcend death. It has been widely interpreted, by the author himself, as a meditation on mortality, inspired by the illness of a close relative.
